The Survival Apnea course has been specially designed by leading big wave surfers and freedivers and is a must for surfers and other sportspeople engaged in breath-hold activities. The course will give students a deeper understanding of what the human body and mind go through when under water on a single breath. In addition, you will be exposed to simple and effective exercises and training methods that, over time, will deliver physical and mental adaptations, helping you to overcome “Intense Situations” with more ease.
This one-day course involves approximately 3 hours of theory and dry exercises and approximately 3 hours of pool exercises. Courses are taught by experienced surfer, freediving instructor, and certified Survival Apnea programme instructor, Jason Rice.
Pre-requisites: Swim 200m unassisted
